Lufthansa Consulting expands its range of activities with new Partner Matthias Riveiro

Matthias Riveiro has assumed his new role as an active partner of Lufthansa Consulting GmbH, effective 1 September 2014. An experienced manager with a strong international focus, he will be responsible for the company"™s "Inter-Branch" business, providing services not only to airlines but also to customers outside the aviation sector. Besides marketing the existing expertise of Lufthansa Consulting, his main task will be to develop new, innovative consulting services in four areas: CRM & Customer Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Digitalization and Lean & Agile.

Working from the company"™s Frankfurt office, Matthias Riveiro will be actively involved in the areas of procurement and sourcing management, digitalization and agility. Process management and performance management are other key topics that will fall within the remit of the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and service center auditor.

Matthias Riveiro has 15 years of professional experience at an international level. Prior to his current appointment, he served as a partner with the international management consulting firm Arthur D. Little. Riveiro studied Business Administration at the University of Mainz, majoring in International Marketing and Strategic Management. Before embarking on his studies, he completed commercial training as a travel agent at Hapag-Lloyd in Bremen. While still an undergraduate, he was involved in the founding of STAR ALLIANCE at Lufthansa.
