United Airlines will begin flying to Buenos Aires from its Newark Liberty hub this fall.
The carrier’s year-round service would begin Oct. 28, pending regulatory approvals, and would feature one daily round-trip flight on Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
The route would be United’s second to Buenos Aires – the airline also serves the Argentine capital from its Houston hub – and would resume service United discontinued in September 2013.
United also announced plans to boost its existing service between Newark and Bogota, Colombia, during its summer schedule. United already flies one daily round-trip flight on the route, but it will add a second flight that will begin June 8 and run through Aug. 14. United also flies to Bogota from its hub in Houston, offering two daily round-trip flights on that route.
