Airbus month in review: November 2017

During November, the order book for Airbu"™ best-selling A320 Family increased by 45 jetliners, while 74 aircraft were delivered to international customers from all of the company"™s current-production single-aisle and widebody product lines.

The new business in November involved 30 single-aisle A320neo and 15 A321neo aircraft for CDB Aviation Lease Finance (CDB Aviation), adding to this lessor"™s previous bookings of 45 A320 Family"™s NEO versions.

Taking the month"™s order from CDB Aviation into account, Airbu"™ overall net orders for the first 11 months of 2017 totalled 333 jetliners.

November"™s deliveries were for 37 customers, composed of 54 single-aisle A320 Family aircraft (including 22 A320neo/A321neo versions), along with 20 widebody jetliners: five A330-300s, 11 A350-900s and four A380s. Deliveries underscored Airbu"™ continued production ramp-up for the A350 XWB, which is to reach a monthly rate of 10 in 2018, with deliveries in November including the initial A350-900 for Malaysia Airlines (operated on lease from Air Lease Corporation).

As of 30 November, Airbu"™ overall backlog of jetliners remaining to be delivered stood at 6,616 aircraft "“ representing the equivalent of approximately nine years of production at current rates.
