Swoop Launching Big Expansion to Mexico

Swoop, Canada-based WestJet’s new low-cost airline, is has kicked off a major expansion to Mexico.

The carrier has launched the first of four new routes to Mexico with a flight from Hamilton to Puerto Vallarta.

“Not only are we celebrating Swoop’s entry into its fourth country in under six months of operation, but also a brand-new route for the Hamilton airport”, said Karen McIsaac, Senior Advisor of Communications at Swoop. “Swoop continues to write a progressive narrative in the history of Canadian air travel, benefitting the thousands of Canadians that choose to fly with us every day and influencing growth in the tourism industry.”

This month, Swoop will also be launching new flights to Mexico including new routes from Hamilton to Cancun and new flights from Abbotsford to Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan.

The Hamilton-Puerto Vallarta flights will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Hamilton-Cancun flights will run on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
