As part of its international expansion strategy and with the goal of strengthening connectivity between Mexico and Europe, Aeromexico announced its intention to operate a new route connecting Mexico City with Milan Malpensa Airport.
The service will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, the airline’s most modern and efficient wide-body fleet, designed for long-haul operations. In recent days, the company celebrated the arrival of its 25th Dreamliner, an aircraft that will help further strengthen its international operations.
The launch of this route is planned for March 2027, subject to government approvals.
Milan will become Aeromexico’s second destination in Italy, complementing the airline’s existing service from Mexico City International Airport to Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport.
With this addition, the airline will offer a total of 7 destinations and 10 routes to Europe, expanding connectivity options and continuing to connect Mexico with some of the world’s most attractive destinations.

The Mexico City–Milan service is currently undergoing the governmental approval process. Information regarding frequencies and itineraries will be announced once the corresponding authorizations have been obtained.
