Starting July 1, 2016, National Airlines will launch service between Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) in Islip, New York, and two destinations in Puerto Rico – Rafael Hernandez Airport (BQN) in Aguadilla and Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) in San Juan – as well as service between Orlando Sanford and Aguadilla beginning in June.
The addition of these new destinations and routes comes on the heels of National Airlines announcing that it will double its service between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and San Juan, Puerto Rico’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU). The new flights between SFB and SJU start March 13, 2016.
“Demand has been high for all of the markets we’ve been serving and we are thrilled to extend our convenient and inclusive service to even more travelers,” said National Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Edward Davidson. “Our airline is tremendously excited about our partnership with Islip and the opportunity to open that market to our destinations in Puerto Rico. There is a vibrant Puerto Rican community in and around Islip and the entire New York City region, and we believe travelers will find our combination of convenient location and inclusive service very attractive”…
