Eurowings launches sale of Premium BIZ seat

The countdown has started: Eurowings customers can now book the new Premium BIZ seat – the seat upgrade for everyone who values more space, privacy, and service when traveling. The Premium BIZ seat will make its debut on 22 November 2025, on the nonstop route from Berlin to Dubai. The starting price is €399.99 per leg in addition to the regular BIZclass fare. Besides the Premium BIZ seat, guests can still choose between the classic BIZclass (free middle seat and more legroom) and the economy fares SMART (optional extra legroom) and BASIC.

With more space to lean back, stretch out, and relax, the Premium BIZ seat takes the medium-haul travel experience to a whole new level: a generous amount of personal space and an adjustable leg rest ensure that every seating position feels comfortable. The sophisticated, ergonomic seat design is complemented by clever details that ensure comfort and functionality on the move, such as an integrated cocktail table and a USB charging port. The experience is rounded off by a high-quality menu with an aperitif and a hot meal, as well as additional extras such as a blanket, pillow, and amenity kit for a pleasant journey.

In the Airbus A320neo, the Premium BIZ seat replaces the usual 2×3 seating arrangement with a spacious 2×2 layout, creating eight exclusive seats per aircraft. This makes Eurowings the first German airline to offer premium seats in narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A320neo. The premium business seat is now available for flights departing on or after 22 November 2025, as an upgrade via www.eurowings.com – both during the original booking process and retroactively for flights that have already been booked. The seat will initially be offered on the Berlin-Dubai route.

The new Premium BIZ seat is part of a comprehensive product and service campaign by Eurowings. Market testing starting with the 2025/26 winter flight schedule is also intended to provide other Lufthansa Group airlines with valuable insights for the future configuration of new aircraft fleets. Eurowings itself is currently preparing for the most extensive fleet renewal in its history: starting in 2027, Germany’s largest leisure airline will receive 40 brand-new Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft with a range of 6,500 kilometers. By then, cabin design and comfort are to be fundamentally redefined.
