Volaris El Salvador, the Salvadoran ultra-low-cost airline operating in Central America, Mexico, and the United States, obtained the renewal of its IOSA(IATA Operational Safety Audit) registration, following an audit of the airline last April by the International Air Transport Association (IATA),which will be valid until November 10,2027.

This is the first renewal of its IOSA registration that Volaris El Salvador has successfully completed, positioning it within a select group of airlines that meet the highest international standards in terms of quality and operational and aviation safety.
IOSA standards and recommended practices are developed by specialists from IATA, as well as other international organizations and airlines, and are continuously updated. Likewise, IOSA adopts the operational safety requirements described in the ICAO annexes.
This new assessment of Volaris El Salvador was carried out under the new IOSA RBI scheme, which is an IATA approach to keeping up with today’s dynamic environment, focusing on relevant safety risks while maintaining an operational safety baseline. This IOSA program increases audit effectiveness and contributes to the industry’s overall goal of reducing accident rates…
