Aena and IATA to collaborate to streamline processes

Airport operator Aena and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) have signed an agreement to streamline operational processes at airports and to share information on technological innovation.

The agreement was signed by Rafael Schvartzman, IATA vice president for Europe, and Maurici Lucena, president and director of Aena, on June 20. Under its terms, the two organizations will work together to implement procedures designed to improve the passenger experience across the 46 airports in the Aena network.

To this end, they will analyze priorities, exchange general and technical information, and share practical experiences of innovation and technological applications that facilitate the operational activity in the Aena network…
