Aerolíneas Argentinas began flying to the Caribbean from Tucumán

On January 5, Teniente Benjamín Matienzo International Airport, serving San Miguel de Tucumán (TUC), resumed international flights by connecting with Punta Cana (PUJ), Dominican Republic.

Flight AR 1338 departed at 4:54 PM with 128 passengers on board a Boeing 737 MAX 8 with 170 seats, divided into 8 seats in Club Cóndor and 162 in Economy. On the return leg, flight AR 1339, operated by the same Boeing 737 MAX 8, landed in Tucumán on January 6 with 75 passengers.

The new route will offer a total of 17,680 seats in 2025.

Tucumán – Punta Cana flight AR 1338 TUC 4:15 PM · 10:30 PM PUJ / Sunday.
Punta Cana – Tucumán flight AR 1339 PUJ 11:45 PM · 8:15 AM (+1) TUC / Sunday.
