Aeromexico intends to offer more flights to Europe than ever before during the summer 2024 season, surpassing the record set this year.
The airline, which serves five cities in the region, intends to add frequencies to Madrid and Paris, saying the move will meet the rising demand for nonstop Mexico-Europe service, as well as providing more connectivity for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, taking place in Paris.
“Last summer, we broke the record for connectivity between Mexico and Europe, and we will do it again next summer,” says Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Aeromexico Giancarlo Mulinelli.
From Mexico City Juarez International Airport (MEX), frequencies to Madrid Adolfo Suarez-Barajas Airport (MAD) will rise from double-daily to 20X-weekly, while service to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) will grow from daily to 10X-weekly.
Along with daily flights from Guadalajara and Monterrey, Madrid will therefore be served with 34 flights per week from Mexico next summer, representing an increase of 22% compared with summer 2023. The expansion in the Mexico City-Paris market marks growth of 34%…
