The Spanish airline Air Europa has launched its non-stop flights between Madrid-Barajas and Quito-Mariscal Sucre airports, operating three weekly frequencies with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
In this way, passengers traveling from the Ecuadorian capital to Madrid will no longer have to take the triangular route Quito-Guayaquil-Madrid, which the airline had operated since its entry into the national market on January 2, 2018, thus saving approximately two and a half hours of travel time.
According to information published by the airline, “Air Europa operates its transatlantic flights with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This model reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to 25% compared to other similar long-haul aircraft. The Dreamliner is not only a benchmark in efficiency but also in comfort. This aircraft offers more cabin space, 30% larger windows, generates less noise pollution, and has a unique air renewal system that helps passengers arrive at their destination feeling more rested.”
