FBO network Atlantic Aviation has acquired Ferrovial Vertiports for an undisclosed amount, with the new wholly-owned subsidiary to be known as VertiPorts by Atlantic.
“This acquisition further positions Atlantic Aviation at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility with the vision, resources, and proven ability to deliver an extensive network of sites,” explained Atlantic Aviation. It will run its newly-acquired asset from Dallas, Texas using Ferrovial Vertiports’ existing leadership team.
Outlining his support for the acquisition, “vertiports will be an essential element in Atlantic Aviation’s development of sustainable solutions and state-of-the-art aviation services,” explained Ferrovial Airports CEO Luke Bugeja. Atlantic Aviation CEO added that “the combination of [his company’s] operational expertise with the outstanding work the Ferrovial Vertiports team has done so far will serve as a tremendous boost to safe and efficient eVTOL operations as the network develops”…
