Cabo Verde Airlines to Resume Direct Flights to Brazil and the United States Soon, Says New Chairman

The new chairman of the board of directors of TACV (Cabo Verde Airlines), Pedro Barros, stated that the national airline of Cabo Verde will “soon” resume direct flights to Brazil and the United States.

According to Brava News, during a statement to the official agency Inforpress, Barros mentioned the Cape Verdean government’s commitment to establishing air connections this year. “The Cape Verdean community in Brazil and the United States can rest assured that we will have a direct connection,” he guaranteed.

Barros emphasized that, in addition to direct flights to the United States and Brazil, Cape Verdeans will also be able to travel to other European cities. This expansion of TACV’s air network is seen as a response to the demands of the community in both countries, which has been clamoring for better air transport options, reports our associated media in Brazil, Aeroin.

TACV inaugurated its flights to Spain on July 30 in collaboration with the tour operator CN TRAVEL. The flight from Sal Island to Barcelona is operated on Tuesdays, with ticket sales being handled exclusively by the tour operator in this initial phase, without availability for sale to the general public.

This operation not only promotes Cabo Verde as a tourist destination in the Spanish market but also opens new opportunities for the national airline in transporting tourists between Cabo Verde and Spain…
