The new chairman of the board of directors of TACV (Cabo Verde Airlines), Pedro Barros, stated that the national airline of Cabo Verde will “soon” resume direct flights to Brazil and the United States.

Barros emphasized that, in addition to direct flights to the United States and Brazil, Cape Verdeans will also be able to travel to other European cities. This expansion of TACV’s air network is seen as a response to the demands of the community in both countries, which has been clamoring for better air transport options, reports our associated media in Brazil, Aeroin.
TACV inaugurated its flights to Spain on July 30 in collaboration with the tour operator CN TRAVEL. The flight from Sal Island to Barcelona is operated on Tuesdays, with ticket sales being handled exclusively by the tour operator in this initial phase, without availability for sale to the general public.
