Sky Airline (Chile) (H2, Santiago de Chile Int’l) has inked longterm lease contracts with ALAFCO covering seven A320neo aircraft.
The Kuwaiti lessor said in a filing to the country’s bourse that the contracts each run for 12 years and of the seven aircraft, six will deliver from Airbus (AIB, Toulouse Blagnac) in 2019 with the seventh due in 2020.
As part of its fleet renewal plans, Sky Airline is looking to add twenty-one A320neo to its fleet through 2020. This year alone, it will add six A320neo, split evenly between SMBC Aviation Capital and Air Lease Corporation.
