Delta delivered on its promise of a safe, on-time and elevated experience for the airline’s customers this Thanksgiving holiday, delivering five “brand days” – days when no flights were canceled across both mainline Delta flights and Delta Connection flights during the period spanning Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 26. Furthermore, only seven mainline flights were canceled during that period.
Final numbers for the full holiday period of Nov. 17-28 are still pending**. However, from Friday, Nov. 17, through Sunday, Nov. 26, Delta carried more than 5.3 million customers on more than 43,000 flights systemwide.
