EVA Air, in collaboration with Evergreen Air Cargo Services Corp. and Trade-Van Information Services Co., has successfully completed the pilot programme of the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) ONE Record standard, becoming the first airline in Taiwan to adopt this new framework.
ONE Record is IATA’s next-generation digital standard for air cargo, utilising Application Programming Interface (API) technology to enable real-time, secure data exchange across the global supply chain.
This advancement not only enhances logistics transparency and operational efficiency but also significantly reduces paper-based documentation and carbon dioxide emissions, laying the foundation for the digital transformation and sustainable development of the air cargo industry.
During the trial, EVA Air and Evergreen Air Cargo Services Corp. successfully confirmed the transmission and reception of standardised messages related to key cargo status updates, including Freight on Hand (FOH) and Ready for Carriage (RCS).
Additionally, in partnership with Trade-Van Information Services Co., EVA Air completed the testing of data transmission and reception for electronic air waybills (e-AWBs) using the ONE Record standard.
These achievements highlight EVA Air’s commitment to digitalising air cargo operations and its technical expertise to drive innovation…
