GOL Linhas Aéreas renewed its certification IEnvA (IATA Environmental Assessment), granted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which covers Flight Operations and Corporate Buildings.
The seal recognizes that the Company maintains a validated Environmental Management System that complies with international standards. To achieve the renewal, GOL underwent an external audit and made identified adjustments to the process, which were analyzed by IATA.
«The renewal of the IEnvA reinforces our transparency, governance, and commitment to environmentally responsible practices. More than just a certification, it reinforces GOL’s commitment to continuing to evolve in its journey toward more sustainable aviation,» says Eduardo Calderon, director of GOL’s Operational Control Center (CCO) and Sustainability.
