IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), has once again been recognised as a Top Employer in the UK for 2025. The accolade is testament to the organisation’s dedication to building a positive, inclusive workplace through people-focused policies, practices and reinforcing its commitment to being a leading employer.
The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey which covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.
Investing in people is central to IAG Cargo’s business strategy, which led to the introduction of a refreshed development pathway designed to provide employees with the knowledge they need to succeed: ‘Leading the Way’. Since launching last year, this initiative has received external accreditation, underscoring its quality and value in fostering professional growth. Caroline Andrews, Chief People Officer, IAG Cargo, said:
“We are incredibly proud to have retained our recognition as a Top Employer for 2025, which is reflective of our unwavering commitment to supporting our employees. A company’s culture plays a crucial role in shaping employees’ workplace experiences and is an essential component to inspire determination and passion in their work.
“As a global business constantly striving to drive innovation and change, we could not be successful without the remarkable dedication and talent of our employees.
“Retaining this accolade is testament to the time and resources our team is investing to cultivate a positive working culture and empowering our employees to achieve their full potential. At IAG Cargo, we are committed to listening to our employees and investing in initiatives that enable us to collectively strive for excellence in all we do.”
Within the last year IAG Cargo has also launched ‘Licence to Recruit’ – a training programme which supports inclusive hiring and enhances manager skills across global operations.
Additionally, IAG Cargo’s ‘Great to Be’ campaign has been instrumental in connecting employees with topics that matter, helping to create a supportive and open culture within IAG Cargo.
Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink says:
“Consistency in a not-so-consistent world? Amidst constant change—through technological advances, economic shifts, and evolving social landscapes—it is inspiring to see people and organisations rise to the challenge.
“This year, the Top Employers Certification Programme highlights the dedication of our Top Employers as they continue to set the standard, consistently delivering world-class HR strategies and practices. These Top Employers strive to foster growth and wellbeing, all while enriching the world of work. We are proud to celebrate these people-first leaders and teams as the Top Employers for 2025!”
