Jamaica is hot right now, in terms of temperature and demand for air travel.
In a meeting led by Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, and his Senior Tourism executives, JetBlue Airways executives confirmed that Jamaica was in high demand in some key states in the U.S.
In fact, the Caribbean Island has already set a record for tourism for the first five months of the year and thanked people with special hotel deals.
“As part of our efforts to reengage with our major airline partners and strengthen our relationships, we met with Senior Executives from JetBlue to look at strategic ways to improve our arrivals figures out of the U.S.,” said Bartlett. “It is encouraging to know that Jamaica remains high on the list of destinations that JetBlue customers want to visit.»
