Low-cost carrier JetBlue is going to introduce two more daily scheduled flights between Mexico City and the US state of Florida.
From September 6 onward, there will be two daily round trips, each on the Orlando-Mexico City and the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood-Mexico City routes.
JetBlue first landed in Mexico City in 2015 with one daily round trip flight from each of its Florida focus cities. The rising air traffic was the reason for the carrier to add more flights on these routes.
Original flight times could not accommodate all customer"™ scheduling needs and did not align well with a portion of connecting traffic, according to the airliner. Analysts say the increase in flight frequency will benefit business travelers.
