Nippon Express has been selected as a designated cargo agent to promote the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The “Project to Promote SAF Use in Air Cargo Transport for Corporate Compliance with Scope 3 Requirements” is a project subsidised by Tokyo’s government to reduce CO2 emissions across supply chains.
The subsidies cover the additional cost of using SAF through designated cargo agents until the end of March 2025.
