Servicios Aeroportuarios Andinos S.A. (SAASA) received from the IATA Center of Excellence for Independent Validators (IATA CEIV) the CEIV Fresh certification, becoming the first warehouse in Peru and the first in theAmericas to have this recognition for managing perishable products.
“SAASA achieved, thanks to its effort and perseverance, the CEIV Fresh certification, a guarantee of excellence in handling perishable products, and with this we became the first Peruvian operator and the first in the Americas to guarantee traceability, management, and storage of these products under the international standards applied in the industry”, indicated Enrique Vargas, General Manager of SAASA.
It is important to point out that SAASA is an integral part of the supply chain of different sectors through the services it provides; therefore, it holds the CEIV Pharma certification since last year, which together with the CEIV Fresh certification, makes the company a reliable partner for the air export of Peruvian pharmaceutical products and perishable and agro-industrial products, which can be found worldwide.
