Virgin Atlantic announced its return to Mexico with the launch of three weekly direct flights from London Heathrow to Cancun, beginning October 19, 2025. This new route will offer the only direct connection between the UK capital and the Mexican Caribbean, catering to British travelers seeking premium sunshine and adventure holidays.
The airline’s Airbus A350-1000 will operate on the route, with a configuration of 16 Upper Class, 56 Premium, and 325 Economy seats. The Upper Class cabin will feature «The Booth,» a social space that provides passengers with cocktails, wine tasting, and premium dining options, bringing Virgin Atlantic’s Clubhouse lounge experience onboard. All passengers will enjoy complimentary food, beverages, and over 300 hours of entertainment options, with WiFi available throughout the aircraft.
