Volaris: an airline on the rise, with more than 33 million passengers transported in 2023

Volaris made its inaugural flight on March 13, 2006, route Toluca – Tijuana. 18 years ago he took flight with a dream and today it is a reality: to be one of the main airlines in Mexico, which has democratized air transport in Mexico, Central and South America, thanks to an innovative ultra-low-cost model and a important team of professionals. Volaris was born with the objective of democratizing the skies in Mexico and the region. Opportunities in the region:

In addition, Volaris is a digital airline. More than 5.2 million customers were served through digital channels, and 80% of sales in 2023 were made on the web and App, while more than 90% of passengers checked in online.

49% of its routes only compete with land transportation. It has 134 aircraft. One of the most modern and eco-efficient in the region, and the largest number of Airbus A320 neo aircraft in Latin America, while it is expected to receive 138 in the following years.

Recognitions:

Volaris received the “Digital Leadership” award at the Airline Strategy Awards 2023 (London), for launching the first NFTs (non-fungible tokens) in the aviation industry in Mexico, being one of the first airline firms to implement this technology to global level.
