Fraport has received IATA CEIV Pharma recertification for its operations at Frankfurt Airport, after it having initially achieved the award in 2018.
IATA CEIV Pharma certification is recognition that a company conforms to IATA’s globally recognised pharma handling procedures and standards, and is capable of the “exemplary handling of time-critical and temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods”.
Fraport said the recertification audit was carried out virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Fraport’s head of ground services, Siegfried Pasler, explained: “The circumstances for the recertification were unusual for everyone involved. But thanks to the excellent preparatory work, we were able to give the auditor a realistic look at our processes”…
