The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) yesterday signed an important partnership agreement with Concordia University"™s John Molson School of Business (JMSB). The new arrangement will lead to the establishment of an Executive Certificate in Civil Aviation Management through the umbrella of ICAO"™s TRAINAIR PLUS Programme.
The programme will offer certificates in Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, and Operations Management and will be taught at a level equivalent to that of a graduate programme.

The establishment of the Executive Certificate in Civil Aviation Management is the first step in what I am certain will be a long and mutually beneficial partnership,» commented Dr. Steve Harvey, Dean of the John Molson School of Business.
During a special ceremony led by ICAO Secretary General Raymond Benjamin, to commemorate this important aviation training milestone, Dr. Harvey was honored for his strong commitment to the joint initiative. Secretary General Benjamin also recognized Concordia"™s JMSB as the first university to join the TRAINAIR PLUS Programme as a Corporate Member.

"We have pledged to work with industry leaders and scholars in human resources development, human performance, and training activities to ensure aviation professionals receive quality education and training to help them reach their job goals."
