First Direct Flights from Incheon Int"™l Airport to Central America Launched

The first direct flights to Central America from Incheon International Airport has launched.

According to the Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) on July 3, Mexico"™s largest air carrier Aeromexico has officially started operating direct flights between Incheon and Mexico City, the Central American country"™s capital, on the same day. The airline will use a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the route, which will fly out of Incheon four times a week.

It is the first route launched by a Central American air carrier. In addition, it is meaningful in that it is the first direct route from Incheon International Airport to Central and South America. Korean Air had operated direct flights between Incheon and Sao Paulo, Brazil, three times a week as the only route to Central and South America, but stopped the services in September last year…
