Airline to sue unruly passengers for flight delay

Three unruly Japanese passengers have been blacklisted by China Airlines and are facing legal action by the airline.

A China Airlines flight last week from Taiwan to Bangkok was forced to turn back to Taoyuan International Airport after alleged drunken antics by the three passengers.

They have been accused of trying to smoke on the flight and harassing crew members and other passengers.

The incident caused a four-hour delay to the flight.

The airline will ban the men from flying again on its aircraft and will seek compensation through legal action to cover their costs, China Airlines president Hsieh Shih-chien said…
