ACI World Annual General Assembly provides milestone for industry recovery

Global leaders from the aviation industry, governments and international organizations will come together in Argentina in November to explore the industry’s pathway to a sustained recovery from COVID-19 pandemic.

Registration is now open for the ACI Latin America and Caribbean/World Annual General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition to be held 21-24 November 2021. It will be hosted by Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 (AA2000) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with have the theme Runway to Recovery: Reconnecting aviation for a sustainable future.

The event will provide one of the most significant opportunities for global leaders and aviation professionals to network, exchange insights and promote partnerships across the world to lay the foundation for recovery and work together towards a sustainable future for the industry.

“As the aviation industry plots a global recovery from the impact and effects of COVID-19, this year’s event will provide an important forum for leaders to come together to explore the opportunity to grasp new technologies, challenge established models, and pursue the sustainable future of aviation,” ACI World Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira said. “As we plot our recovery, we are looking forward to providing this golden opportunity to reconnect the global leadership of our industry. We are working with our host and event partners to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all participants is prioritized.”

President Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, CEO Corporación América Airports, and ACI World Chair, Martin Eurnekian said this year’s event marks an important milestone with key discussions on industry recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event was originally planned for 7 to 11 November 2020 but was postponed in response to the prolonged impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global community.
