Air France unveils its first new business class menu of 2019

Air France has unveiled the first of its 12 new business class menus it will be rolling out throughout 2019, with a selection of six dishes designed by three-Michelin-starred chef Anne-Sophie Pic being offered from January through to March.

Available on board long-haul flights departing Paris as well as services to select medium-haul destinations, this first menu will see two main meal options made available to business class passengers each month.

In January, passengers will have the option of either Pollock with creamy black rice, butternut and coconut curry sauce (pictured above), or creamy lentils served with beetroot and onion pickles.

These dishes will then be rotated out next month and replaced with a choice of either poultry with Tonka bean, voasti polenta and chicken sauce… or beef cheek in a coffee marinade with celery, chestnut and carrots.

Finally in March, the menu will comprise guinea fowl and cream of green peas in black tea sauce along with the return of the Pollock with black rice dish that is being served this month.

The new business class menu forms part of Air France’s wider 2019 business class in-flight dining programme, which sees different Michelin-starred chefs developing menus for business and La Premier (first class) passengers for a period of three months each…
