Argentina’s province of Cordoba is set to become a hub for Norwegian Air Argentina, after the low cost carrier committed to invest $200m into the facility, according to the provincial government’s website.
The airline’s CEO Ole Christian Malthus and Governor Juan Schiaretti of Cordoba signed an agreement that is expected to materialize between 2018 and 2020 and produce 100 jobs.
Norwegian Air Argentina will start flying some of its 72 domestic and 80 international routes later this year.
The airline currently has two planes and plans to expand its fleet to six by the end of 2018…
