Embraer delivers 11 commercial aircraft in 1Q

Embraer delivered 11 commercial aircraft in the 2019 first quarter, including the first E175 jet to Mauritania Airlines, the first of this model to the African continent.

The Brazilian manufacturer’s 1Q commercial deliveries comprised 10 E175s and one E190-E2.

E175 deliveries included seven to Dallas/Fort Worth-based American Airlines and one each to Japan’s Fuji Dream Airlines parent Suzuyo Corp., West Africa-based Mauritania Airlines, and US regional operator SkyWest.

The E2 jet went to Dublin-based lessor AerCap.

Embraer’s records, released May 3, also indicated firm orders for two more E175s from an undisclosed customer…
