Ethiopian Airlines to Transport Cargoes to Southeast China

Ethiopian Airlines’ logistics and cargo department reportedly announced on Saturday to broaden its services to Chongqing, a town in southwestern China that will connect with Africa and South America.

The connection will be through a weekly flight, which increases the development of China-Africa bilateral trade and extends the already Chinese growing project Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), assured the airline’s Executive Director, Tewolde Gebremariam.

This service, he said, responds to the strategic decisions we have taken in order to enlarge the global cargo operations of Ethiopian Airlines, and also reinforces our presence in China, where we have been flying since the 70s…
