Singapore-based SATS Ltd has won the 2018 IATA Ground Handling Conference Innovator competition for its use of smartwatches in Technical Ramp Operations.
Using 4G data, the company"™s Smart Watch Resource Management Solution is able to streamline processes on the ground, which helps to create better productivity and safety through enhanced communication.
The equipment also tracks performance, as it captures the start and completion time of tasks, with SATS Ltd able to analyze data to gather key insights on efficiency and use this to improve resource planning.
