Interjet Joins Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA)

Interjet announced it has joined the Latin America and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA), which includes more than 35 other airlines dedicated to strengthening cooperation and communications between the region’s airlines to benefit air transportation throughout LATAM and the Caribbean.

«Joining ALTA is a big next step for Interjet,» said José Luis Garza, Interjet’s Chief Executive Officer. «As one of the fastest growing airlines in North America, we are honored to be a part of this prestigious organization and look forward to more leisure and business travelers in the region experiencing our unique brand of competitive prices with free checked bags on select fares, more legroom between seats and great service which is resonating more and more with the markets we serve,» he added.

In welcoming Interjet to ALTA, Luis Felipe de Oliveira, ALTA’s Executive Director added, «We are very pleased to have Interjet join our growing organization.
