LATAM Airlines offers new European destinations as part of international expansion

LATAM Airlines Brazil announced today that tickets are now on sale for its new São Paolo-Lisbon flight and that it plans to serve Munich in the first half of 2019, as part of LATAM Airlines Group"™s continuing international expansion.

Passengers throughout South America will be able to connect conveniently with these new flights via LATAM"™s São Paulo/Guarulhos hub.

"Over the past two years, not only has LATAM launched an unprecedented 30 international services "“ including new destinations in Europe, North America and Oceania "“ we are also strengthening existing routes with more frequencies and connection options."

Beginning 2 September 2018, LATAM Airlines Brazil will offer five flights per week between Lisbon and its São Paulo/Guarulhos hub. The route will be operated by Boeing 767 aircraft, offering 191 seats in Economy and 30 in Premium Business, with tickets available via latam.com<http://www.latam.com/> and other sales channels from today.

LATAM Airlines Brazil flight JJ8178 will depart São Paulo/Guarulhos on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with a journey time of 10 hours. The return flight, JJ8179, will take-off from Lisbon (Humberto Delgado Airport) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a journey time of 10 hours, 45 minutes. Exact departure and arrival times depend on the day of travel.

Located on the European Atlantic coast, Lisbon is the most western capital of Europe and Portugal"™s largest metropolis. As one of the world"™s oldest cities, dating back to 1200 BC, it is renowned for its historical and cultural riches, attracting tourists from across the globe.

New destination: Munich, Germany
LATAM Airlines Brazil plans to serve Munich from São Paulo in the first half of 2019 "“ subject to regulatory approval "“ with more details to be communicated in the coming months. The Bavarian capital will become LATAM"™s second destination in Germany after Frankfurt and its ninth European city.

Inauguration of new international services
Yesterday (3 June), LATAM Airlines Brazil"™s inaugural flight touched down in Las Vegas, United States, marking the first non-stop flight from South America to the "˜Entertainment Capital of the World"™. LATAM"™s Boeing 767 aircraft transported 191 passengers in Economy and 30 customers in Premium Business from São Paulo.

The São Paulo-Las Vegas flight will operate three times per week in the summer and winter peak seasons: from June to September 2018, before returning in December 2018 until March 2019.

On 2 June, the first LATAM Airlines Brazil flight between São Paulo and Tucumán also took to the skies. Airbus A320 aircraft, with capacity for 174 passengers, will operate three flights per week, year-round.

LATAM"™s international expansion
With the new routes, LATAM Airlines Group and its affiliates will offer flights to 143 destinations in 26 countries. In 2017 alone, LATAM inaugurated 13 new international routes, including the longest flight in its history, Santiago-Melbourne. In 2018, LATAM will launch a further 17 international flights, having already commenced services such as Lima-San Jose (Costa Rica) and São Paulo-Rome and with inaugural flights to new destinations including Boston, United States (July) and Tel Aviv, Israel (December) still to come.
