New easyJet country director to drive UK strategy

UK LCC easyJet appointed Neil Slaven as its new UK country director to drive the carrier’s UK strategy. He started in the new position March 1.

Luton-headquartered easyJet has more than 160 aircraft based in the UK at 11 bases and 18 airports.

Since easyJet CEO Johan Lundgren took over the British airline in December 2017 he has been focusing on investing in easyJet Holidays, a new loyalty program and attracting more business passengers. The airline is also investing in the use of data to boost revenues and cut costs.

Slaven has been with the airline since 2011 and will report to group markets director Thomas Haagensen in his new role…
