TAP Air Portugal informs that, by decision of co-optation of the Board of Directors, Renato Inácio is the new CFO of TAP, following the resignation of the position presented by Gonçalo Pires.
Renato Inácio joined TAP in the first quarter of 2021, serving as Senior Director of Corporate Finance and Risk, and remaining as a guest lecturer at ISEG/University of Lisbon. Previously, he spent most of his career at Deloitte (until 2017), as a partner in Financial Advisory Services, and subsequently worked in different Private Equity firms.
Gonçalo Pires was appointed non-executive director of TAP in 2021, becoming CFO in the same year.
One of the main objectives of his mandate was the preparation and implementation of TAP’s recovery plan, approved by the European Commission in December 2021 and with an implementation horizon until December 2025. With this cycle now concluded, he will dedicate himself to other professional challenges.
TAP’s Board of Directors thanks Gonçalo Pires for all the commitment and dedication he has always shown to the Company and wishes him the best of luck in his new role.
