Aeromar joins IATA

Mexico’s leading regional airline AEROMAR has joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) as a full member effective October 1st. AEROMAR has been a long time participant in IATA programs and an IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certified airline since 2010 in compliance with the industry’s best and most rigorous safety practices.

Founded in 1987, AEROMAR is Mexico’s most experienced regional airline. Based in Mexico City, it features Mexico’s only state of the art turboprop fleet, comprised of ten ATR-42 and -72 aircraft averaging under 4 years of age, achieving consistent industry-leading productivity and reliability parameters.

Danilo Correa, AEROMAR CEO, stated: “To become a full IATA member is a very important milestone and recognition for AEROMAR. AEROMAR is certified to operate national and international scheduled and charter flights for passengers, freight and mail. Its IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certification recognizes the airline’s compliance with the most rigorous industry standards for aviation safety.

AEROMAR embraces a commitment to offer passengers the benefits of a ful service airline with the highest service and safety standards. Its United codeshare and Mileage Plus partnership enables program members to accrue and redeem mileage points throughout Aeromar’s route network.
