LATAM Airlines advances Peruvian domestic and US connections

Cutting the ribbon at the launch of LATAM Airline"™ new domestic service between Cuzco and Iquitos are: Manuel van Oordt Fernandez, GM of LATAM Airlines in Peru; Marisol Acosta, Tourism Director, PROMPERÚ; and Carlos Moscoso, Mayor of Cuzco. The carrier will offer a three times weekly service on the Peruvian domestic link.

LATAM Airlines added two new connections to its extensive route map this week, starting on 1 July with a 7,730-kilometre connection from Sao Paulo Guarulhos (GRU) to Boston (BOS). The oneworld member will operate a four times weekly service on the route between North and South America using its fleet of 767-300s. The second route launch for the airline took place the following day, with it starting a 1,093-kilometre Peruvian domestic sector between Cuzco (CUZ) and Iquitos (IQT). LATAM will offer a three times weekly service between the two cities, with it planning to use its fleet of 144-seat A319s on the route.
